Care Options & Pricing

Option 1: Full Midwifery Care

Sliding Scale Rate: $4,900 – $6,900 (Non-Cash Rate:  $5,047 -  $7,107)

Includes:

• Prenatal Visits (6–42 weeks, up to 20 visits):

  • Every 4 weeks until 28 weeks

  • Every 2 weeks from 28–36 weeks

  • Weekly from 36 weeks until labor

  • Labs (OB panel, NIPT, Sneak Peek, GD testing, CBC, GBS, etc.)

  • Urinalysis at each visit

  • Ultrasound referrals

  • Nutritional & supplement counseling

• Labor Support:

  • 24/7 on-call support during early labor

  • In-person labor support, vitals on mother & baby

  • Birth tub rental

  • Suturing & medications as needed

  • Filing birth certificate

• Postpartum Care:

  • Day 1–2: Home visit, newborn checks, lactation support

  • Day 3: Home visit with newborn screening & parent recovery discussion

  • Week 1: Virtual postpartum visit (optional)

  • Week 2: Home/office visit with newborn screening & support

  • Week 4: Virtual visit (optional)

  • Week 6: Office visit, pap, family planning counsel

Option 2: Planned Transfer

Sliding Scale Rate: $3,500 – $5,500 (Non-Cash Rate: $3,605 - $5,665)

Includes:

• Full prenatal & postpartum care (same as Option 1)

• Labor Support:

  • 24/7 on-call support

  • One evaluation in labor (vitals, vaginal exam if requested)

  • Guidance & support during transfer

  • Doula support at hospital

• Postpartum care (except hospital-based services)

Option 3: Full Montrice Care in Labor at Home

Rate: $1,000/up to 6 hours (Non-Cash Rate: $1,030)

Additional Hours: $100/hour)

Travel Fee: $50 for homes 30+ minutes away or between 11pm–6am​

Includes:

• One prenatal or postpartum visit

• Prenatal Visit Options: labs review, position check, nutrition counsel, vital checks, pap/labs (extra cost)

• Labor Support: 24/7 on-call, vitals on mom & baby, progress checks, accompaniment to birth location, report to staff

• Doula support at hospital available for additional cost

• Postpartum Visit: newborn exam, lactation support, recovery evaluation​​​

Sliding Scale Pricing

Sliding scale makes midwifery care more affordable. After birth, clients may choose to pay higher on the scale if able.

• 50% of final payments go toward nonprofit Ma Bailey’s.

• 50% of final payments go toward the Midwifery Fund to cover care for families with financial limitations.
